Crochet pumpkin pattern for Halloween
Looking for a cute crochet pumpkin pattern? Check out this free crochet pattern for a fall pumpkin. It’s the perfect thing to decorate your house for the autumn season or Halloween.
You can use different types of yarn to change the size of your pumpkin. Choose a DK or Sport weight for a smaller pumpkin and a bulky or a super-bulky weight yarn for a larger pumpkin. Make sure to use a crochet hook that’s one or two sizes smaller, it makes the fabric a little tighter, so it will hold the stuffing without showing holes.
Here is what you will need:
- Yarn in orange, brown, light and dark green and yellow color calling for a 3,5 mm hook.
- Size 2.5 mm crochet hook
- Poly-Fil Fiberfill stuffing
- Yarn needle, stitch marker, pins and scissors
- Optional: small button for decoration
What did I use?
Very soft 2 sport yarn – Yarn Art Jeans from Turkey (55 % Cotton, 45% Acrylic)
